Says it’s VIC government - calling about power rebates - wanting personal info - when you don’t give it they hang up. Scam.

Definitely spam. They don't answer when you call them back.

just had 2 missed calls, no voicemail = i don't call back

Caller: Vic Energy Scheme

Had a lovely caller, Kevin (of course not his real name), he was telling me that they were offering the exhaust fan seals. I said I am not interested. He hung up.
10mins later, the "supervisor" Alan (as well not his real name), rang me telling me. I politely cut in to advised I already spoken to Kevin and not interested.... Well Alan went on a tirade, thrown so many sarcasms at me. I tried to be polite again to decline but he kept be pushing, asking what hile offering if I knew what was offered.
I get they need to meet a quota but if the Australian Govt are hiring people to push these schemes, some respect would be appreciated.
I hung up on Alan and blocked the number.

Ring me, when I picked up the phone and said “hello” but they said nothing then turn off their phone.

Called number back on land line. No connection noted just silence. Call received on mobile no message left.

Keep getting calls for ‘Canary’ someone or other… even after blocking numbers for years. Todays number called through twice on (03) 9118 0902.
