I use a different name on Facebook to my real name and that is the name they used when I answered the phone. When I started questioning him he hung up.

When I received the call I noticed that the number (03) 9114 7889) had the Victoria area code, this made me cautious, I answered the call and the girl started talking stating she was from Morgan Stanley Survey and she called me by my first name, I immediately asked her how do you know my name and how did you get my number? She immediately ended the call without an explanation. I now believe they obtained my name and number by illegal means, BEWARE!

A person called and said they were from Roy Morgan but l contacted Roy Morgan and they did not call me and the phone number did not match with their call centre number. Beware !!!

Paypal scam

A lady called and started questioning me about my job. She hung up right away after she was done with the questions. I became suspicious and called back immediately. It said that the number is not in use

They knew my name and when I asked how they got my name/number they just said 'we got it from a licence data provider' , I said I'm not comfortable giving you answers as I'm not aware of your company and not your customer but they kept on pushing very aggressively (even with a loud voice) so I just hung up

Beware, its either a scam or trying to obtain your personal information for their personal agenda!

I received a call from this number this morning... same situation. Calling to request that I complete a Morgan Stanley survey. The call came from Melbourne and it was a female. I asked where they received my personal information from... couldn't explain, said they'd call back another time. These people are vile... beware.

A guy called and asked for my wife by name, when I said I was the husband they just hung up.

Same, I got the same call as well about investment or something. They knew my first name and phone number and asked me a couple questions. Questions they asked (in this order):
What industry do you work in?
What's your yearly income bracket?
What age bracket are you in? (They might ask for your specific age)
What type of investment are you into? (International, something something something)
What do you focus on when investing? (I don't know anything about investing and she listed off some examples and I answered one of them)
How much do you invest?
Do you invest by yourself or with someone else?
What's your last name?
What state do you live in?
What's your email address in case we need to reach you?
When can I call you back?

I answered but could not understand the caller, he asked for me by name, then hung up.

A lady with a different accent said it was a survey, I went through with the questions as I feel sorry for people doing this kind of job. The questions went to investments, salary and your location, I lied and was vague as I started to feel unsafe due to the nature of the questions. Probably a scam.

Same as the other reports on this number. I hung up when she said my name after a long pause after I answered.

Caller: stated they were from Roy Morgan Research

clearly from a call centre, caller stated they were from Roy Morgan Research, my response was "How do I know your from Roy Morgan Research" to which the caller immediately hung up. Definitely a scam call as the accent was Indian and the background noise was a large call centre.
