Caller: Price Cutter - electricity 'cost comparison' website

Electricity marketing company who 'claim' not to be associated with any electricity company, and claim to be 'just checking' that you are on the right tariff. They claim it is not a promotional call. They ask you who your electricity retailer is, what rate you pay, etc. Don't take their call and don't call them back. Why would you give your personal info to a business you've never heard of who takes the time to call you but claims its not a marketing call. They should be shut down. Go to the Victorian Government energy price compare website to find out what tariffs the different companies offer rather than give your information to telemarketers.

Caller: Scam "Energy Broker"

They've been hounding me for ages with calls that i bever answer. Eventually i answered and spoke to someone who told me they were an "Energy Broker" who worked with numerous energy retailers and were offering to compare my energy rates for free. Kept them on the line for a while asking stupid question after stupid question until i made the scam artist on the other end have a tantrum because i wasn't cooperating with him. Hahaha... these scammers have no idea but were good for a laugh. In short, they're a scam. Don't amswer unless you want to annoy them as i do.

Caller: Just another Indian Scammer

It wont stop unless you get the local Indians in Australia riled up enough to send a message back subcontinent side. Can you see any other way of stopping these Indian scammers?
