I called back number (03) 9112 5928 reached IVR for Ausgreen Homes.

First I received a call from (03) 9112 5928 that hangup after 4 rings and after short time another calls from (02) 8074 3495 and 0406 308 296 that are reported as a scam. Note (03) 9112 5928 is also known as a telemarketer but I decide to blocked all 3.

Asked me about my energy bill, which was odd because I don't have one

Didn’t leave a voicemail and saw several complaints here. Adding my cent. Blocked the number

Call 3 times a day, never leave a message. I blocked them.

Foreign spoken man says he was from are Ausgreen (assuming they are trying to make consumers think they are Ausgrid). Asks if I am the one who pays the electricity bill then proceeds to tell me that the electricity rates are going up and he is here to offer me a better deal even though I didn't ask for one.
On Futher inspection the number goes back to an answering machine saying they are Ausgreen homes but the website of Ausgreen homes doesn't mention anything about electricity or deals. SO Beware!! NO doubt it is a definite scam of some magnitude.

Asked me if i wanted lower electricity rates - he kept calling me my surname. I asked how he got my number. couldn't answer. Not happy to be called like that.

Became abusive very quickly when I asked him to clarify who he was. Something about electricity

After reading the posts, I blocked this number.

Scammer！ Received and then hung up！
