MANY calls from this number and other 9112 numbers all wanting to know what I earn and how to pay less tax. Scam is against the law so I hope they stop calling. I just keep blocking all 9112 numbers

this lady said she was from City of Darebin and asking lifestyle questions
and knew my name ?
when I asked how she got my number
said she wasn't going to waste her time
well guess what idiot nether was I and I'm not telling you private info

I did not recognise number so did not answer and they didn't leave a message, so assumed it’s not important. I checked here and found great information, thank you everybody and now I know who called me, and will now block

Caller: Bureau of Statistics

Answered to a man telling me he was from the bureau of statistics. Heard a rooster in the background. Pretty sure no animals are allowed in an ‘office building’.

Said they were from my local Council. I offered to ring them back ... they hung up

Wanting personal financial information.

All I got was silence when ringing back, tried 3 times

Caller: no idea

Laughter and scratching and a few unsavoury sounds on their end.

I had the same call from this number..
Individual called themselves Amanda...and claimed to be from City Surf Council,
Number looks like a Melbourne number...
Very odd call. Asked my age range, my home financially arrangement and my partners and mine combined wages...knew my given name.
I think its a scam...sounded weird.

said they were from Knox council, didn't believe them....

Caller: Asian Man

Called saying he was from a council that I lived in 5 years ago . He hung up when i questioned him. I called back .
No dial tone and call just drops out

Said he was from my local council, couldn't even pronounce my first name. Scam.
