No response when I missed and call back this number. Now I know it’s a scam after reading the comments.

Caller: Allegedly Monash City Council Survey- suspected scammer.

I have just received a phone call from (03) 9112 5846.
The caller was a Female with a Philippine American accent. The caller knew my name. Asked me to confirm they were speaking with me and if I would be interested in taking part in a short survey for Monash City Council.
I advised I do not live in Monash Council to which she replied that the information would be shared with my local council.
The Survey questions were : age range, Marital status, Home owner or Mortgage, Household income (not answered) and postcode.
When asked what any of this has to do with the Monash Council the response was something along the lines of “the information would be shared with my local council to assess the increasing cost of living”, “thank you for your time” and the call was abruptly ended.
I do not know if the questions might have gotten more invasive if I wasn’t so reluctant to answer.

Unknown to me. On do not call register yet still getting annoying calls.

Asked me personal questions already knew my name asked them why they need to know this info. Cannot call back. Number should be blocked and stopped

Called himself 'Alex' and wouldnt identify where he was from. Used my name and asked how I was. When I didnt reply and instead asked what I could do for him, he said 'Well, f&^k you then' and hung up. Seriously?

Said they were from my local council, Community Development and wanted to conduct a 10 second survey (that's pretty quick!) When I asked for their full name, they hung up

Wanted to do a five question survey. Don’t know what about..as soon as I said NO she hung up in my ear..obviously not an authentic call.

Knew my name, was asking my age, if I was single, married etc, I repeatedly ask where they were calling from, wouldn't answer, only said that the purpose of their call 'was to improve my area"?!? I told them it was none of their business and hung up.

Indian accent when asked where he is from, he hung up. One of those annoying dodgy callers.

State that they are from Census, which is now an online gig. Wouldn’t identify themselves any further.

I took survey as it was form local Council . Questions become invasive and I hung up. Very questionable behaviour
