Started with a voice message saying someone was trying to buy a gift card on my eBay account. And then connects you to a call center - who ask you to d! /l an app so they can connect you to the eBay secure server. They were unable to verify they were eBay - or give another number for me to call to verify.

Caller: Automated call claiming to be eBay The computer voice reported that eBay had a request to debit $200 plus from my account. I was asked to call on a number impossible to grasp or press 1 - 2 - 3 for various options. The call ended with another voice sounding more friendly

Seems to be an EBay gift card scam coming from an overseas call centre.
