This is a registered Australian charity - they provide services to blind and vision impaired children and adults in Victoria including training Guide Dogs that allow them to travel around safely.
They are not scammers, but need donations to help with providing services to disabled Australians
As they are a charity, they are allowed to contact all Australians to ask for help - the government has allowed all registered charities to do this, they are not blocked by the Do Not Call register.

I don't work for them, but do have a vision impaired relative who gets a lot of help from them - without it, he wouldn't be able to travel safely to school each day. Guide Dogs do a great job!

They waited too long to speak so I hung up and looked up the number.

MY FAMILY TOLD ME TODAY I left my mobile at hm told me it was a scam guided dogs and have no pets please do not ring again on moblie or the houseline rang today at 2.01pm 2.30pm 3x one was private num thanks

They called my mobile yesterday & today. Missed the call yesterday but answered it today, they did not reply to my answering. Hopefully they will give up after a couple of tries.
