Caller: Service Stream Limited on behalf of NBN This is Service Stream - they call on behalf of NBN to confirm install appointments. You receive a text message from them first - and you cant call this numner back. If you need to change install time you have to ring back Internet Provider.

Someone turned up to my home unannounced saying they were here for my 10am appt. from nbn. I said I have not known anything about this. Tech said I called my service provider to report a fault & fix my nbn. I have no problem with my nbn & I didn’t call my sp. for anything. 2 days later I get a mobile call from the same tech saying at my home for my new appt. I was out. No one told me about any appt. I say I’m not home now, please cancel.
Then I get a call from (03) 9093 9221, a guy asking me did I cancel my appt for a second time? I explained the situation. He said contact my SP.
A day later, my SP calls me about nbn appt. I explain I have no problems. Service provider cancels next nbn appt. apologises & offers me $10 credit to my account. I asked who is making these appts without advising me? No info
Today a tech turns up at my home unannounced. Calls me, says he’s here to fix my nbn. Says he’s here to fix a blue light which my modem does not show.
I explain I have no probs & didn’t report any fault. He gets agitated out the front of my home. I don’t want to open the door because of this.
He doesn’t go away for about half an hour, during which time, 3 calls incoming from (03) 9093 9221. I am feeling hounded. A bit apprehensive about when another person will show up unannounced.

Got a text message saying " This is Service Stream Limited on behalf of NBN. We will be calling today with important information regarding your NBN Installation. Our caller ID is: (03) 8364 9000 (this number does not accept calls). We look forward to speaking with you today. NO REPLY." Shortly after my phone didn't ring but I had a missed call from (03) 9093 9221 they had left a voice message in another language. I did not return the call. Just blocked the number. I have contacted NBN and my provider to see if the text is a scam. Awaiting response. Seems weird because I already have an NBN appointment booked.
