They say they are from Origin (but they are not as I checked with Origin) talking about my LPG (I don't use gas) so they are definitely not from Origin as Origin knows I don't have gas. They called both home and mobile phone numbers, so wonder where they are getting their information from. They are now blocked.

I called back number (03) 9093 0667 reached IVR for a company called Origin Energy.

Offered me a great deal, told them to call back. Spoke with Origin and they said it was legit. Will be signing up for the gas bottles when they call back.

I recently had a quote from Origin Energy Solar, and they keep ringing back from Melbourne, so I assume this is also regarding Origin Energy Solar.
However, my phone classes it as a harassing call, and recommends blocking the number.

The gentleman asked me if I have gas bottles on my premises. I replied with why would you ask me that? "It's for promotional purposes."

Caller called my wife by name on my mobile number. I said 'wrong number' and hung up.
No mucking around.

Said they were from Origin Energy asking if I had LPG Gas, then basically hung up once I said no. She was extremely unprofessional

Missed a call from this number. Voicemail message was a recording in Chinese.

This number just called me 3 times within 1 minute. Rang for 10 seconds then hung up, called back within 2 seconds and repeated again and again. No message left

When you call the number back, it says 'we work on behalf of origin energy'. I just renewed my plan with origin and now the calls have started....

When I answered, they promptly hung up. Cannot be a legit business with behaviour protocol like this.

Just how did they get a silent number. Origin selling stuff but don't leave a message is suspect.
