i called back number (03) 9091 6006 spoke to a woman who said company name is Vodafone.

Vodafone calling to discuss about offers.

Same here - wanted password - no way. Said they were from Vodafone. Told them if I want to upgrade I'll do it in person and hung up. No-one should ever ask for passwords like that.

never give out your information to so called phone companies they are scammers hang up and if you are after a batter deal call them yourself.

The lady were asking for my mobile number, name, DoB, password.

I believe it is not from Vodafone.

Said he was from Vodafone & asked for pin No & password for account. Then asked for drivers liscence
no as proof to get into account. Phone is registered to SingTel OPTUS in Melbourne.

I've had two missed calls from this number in as many days, the odd thing is that my phone never actually rang. I called the number and got a Vodafone recording. I'm so sick of Vodafone harassing me like this, time to change carriers.

I actually got a text message from Vodafone (the one you receive notifications from) at the same time of the call saying I was speaking to a representative from there. I think it's legit, just a Vodafone call centre trying to upgrade customers.

I received a call said she was Emma from Vodafone and wanted to upgrade my plan. She asked for pincode and ID medicare card. So I went on Vodafone website on live chat and Natalie comfirmed that I had been called and it is Vodafone :)

Called from this Melbourne based number claiming to be Vodafone wanting to discuss my phone plan . For added sophistication also set a text asking me to release into to their representative . Declined and terminated call . Looked up the number which interestingly seems to have links to Optus and SingTel .

Calles then hanges up without a word.
