I called back number (03) 9088 8164 it says the number I have dialed is not in service anymore.

SCAM, i cant pick any landline numbers up anymore, well done telstra you have let your system be taken over by scammers, golf claps people. ridiculous.

I totally agree with you! Telstra has allowed us to be constantly harrassed by these scammers. I am on the no calls list but it makes no difference. I hope some other phone company sorts this type of thing out because Telstra it seems does nothing.

when you answer these numbers, stay silent. it hangs up after a few seconds if no-one speaks. Works on most scam calls.

Answered and no response then they hung up instantly

this number comes from a call centre. they spoke with an accent and wanted to know if I was interested in free financial advice. I've told him that I was not interested and they hung up. Not even a thank you for my time LoL.

The person on the line asked if I was the owner of the property? I asked what property and he said the property in NSW and reamed off some random postcode. Don’t bother answering , it sounds dodgy
