I called back to find out who it was. Goes to automated voicemail saying this number is not in service. Therefore Fraudulent/or scammer

Caller: An Indian Call Centre????

A man called with such a thick accent I could barely understand him and told him to call me back. I won’t be answering. I’m betting it’s some company trying to sell me insurance or change my electrical provider.

I called back the number (03) 9088 8161 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

How do these guys get Australian # should our Telcos be more responsible?

SCAM .. there is something terribly wrong with these people.
Indian ... not able to understand them. I keep saying, no ..I Don't like curry, don't call again. Bloody time wasters!

Person with heavy Indian accent said he was from Power save (I think).

Told him I was on do not call register and he hung up - number now blocked

(03) 9088 8161 - have called our home phone almost every 2nd day. This time it was asking if we would like finance to buy a negative geared property. Previously it was for solar. We have do not call on our line, so how are they getting through?

Ringing about Solar Panel rebate scheme. Caller had heavy Indian accent but was polite. Quickly said no thanks and hung up.

Caller from "PowerSave" wanting to talk about my electricity account.
Sounded like a call centre, and given I've never heard of the company it doesn't seem legit.

Thick accent from call centre - don’t identify themselves. Wanting to speak to account holder of the electricity account.

Just had a call from this number on my mobile & they hung up as soon as i went to talk. Now blocked.

Rang the number back and the number is not in service

When I answered they just hang up. When you ph back you get telecom message stating this no is out of service.WTF ? This number has been blocked on my phone.

Call from another planet, once pick up, they hang up...

Hangs up when I answer so must be a SCAM
