British backpacker claiming to call from some insurance company.

Called asking for person information from myself when trying to sell life insurance. When I said not willing to hand it out, he kept pushing so I hung up. They called me straight back, and left a long voicemail with no talking.

I called back number (03) 9088 3537 reached voice mail of a company called living advantage and apologizing for the missed calls because it was their system doing it.

Claimed he was selling life and burial insurance, wanted personal information like what current insurance i had and if i was satisfied with it. Told him not interested then he hung up.

Insurance company. Refused to remove me off their calling list after asking twice. Clearly understood what I wanted but kept f*cking pesting me about life insurance. Annoying af.

Yes, this is the same name I got when I tried to call back.....They called me on my work mobile.....The recording said that there was a malfunction which caused phones to be called outside of their business hours but they were doing everything they could to investigate this 'strange event'......very suspicious......

Scam

British male calling from an insurance company (I think he said NextGen). I told him I wasn't interested and he got upset, he was rude and said he wouldn't bother talking to someone who wasn't interested in saving money. He hung up on me. I blocked this number on my phone.

Just a bunch of scammers that ring and hang up so it costs you to call them back. I have now blocked them.

I have received several calls from this same number with no message. When you call the number back it has the apologetic message from Living Advantage that claims it is a big mix up by their Canadian provider and someone not affiliated with their company is doing the calling. Decided to answer the call today and got - "I'm Elijah from" some unrecognizable company (not Living Advantage however). Just hung up. Time to block them.

Annoying sales of some kind. The person mumbled the company name and I think it was deliberate. Seemed shifty.

Called 23/09/2015. They did not leave a voicemail therefore I did not call back

I called back number (03) 9088 3537 reached IVR of company called living advantage .

Call them back and you get a message from Living Advantage in Melbourne telling you it's all a big "malfunction" and they're sorry. It's a scam attempt. They called me "mate" and wanted a "few minutes of my time". I just cut the call, no need to apologise for hanging up on unsolicited crap like this.

You missed a call from (03) 9088 3537, who did not leave a message. This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you.
