Caller: Indian Electrical Company

Have received calls from this number so so many times. I block and they call from a similar number.
It’s always someone with an Indian accent who’s clearly in a dodgy office as you can hear heaps of people talking in the background. Records from numerous calls.
1) They tried to say they could offer me a better deal for my electricity. Told them to not call me ever again and I’m not keen.

2) Said they were from Energex Australia and I needed to pay my bill. I’m not with Energex and never have been which I told them. To which he tried to ask me who I’m with and I said would you not already know that?
The caller then asked me to provide my address to confirm my account to which I pointed out that he’s already tried to tell me who my provider is so he should already know my details. Again told them to not call me again.

3) About the 27th time they called my partner answered the phone as ‘Victorian Police’ for a laugh and they were quick to hang up.

100% would not trust this number or give them any personal details

Appeared as Debt Collection. has been calling for few days. Can someone just throw African Honey Bee beehive in their place of operation? And then that would be end of pain to us all.

The imbiciles are really pissing me off, calling every bloody day for the last year... Causing me to miss legitimate phone calls because I won't answer anymore.... Come to my house and knock on my door and try to sell me this crap face to face you bastards. I will rip your ear off !!!!

I keep getting calls from this number or similar as I keep blocking them, never leave a message, answered once and it was an Indian accent about Energy, asked them not to call me again.

I called back number (03) 9088 1734 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Caller: Indian Electricity Supply company calling itself People Savers

Indian guy didn't really know how to open a conversation so I asked him how I could help him. He then told me he was from People Savers and wanted to talk about my electricity. I asked him where he got my number from. He was stumped so I asked again where he got my number from. He then said from the public database. I told him I was on the Do Not Call Register and that he was working from an 'unwashed' database and that calls made to my number were illegal. He tried telling me I had a public number and he call if he wants to. I told him thank you sir, you spoke long enough for your call to be recorded and reported you will be receiving your expensive fine very shortly! The gasp he gave was music to my ears. He hung up.

Stand up to these idiots! This site is a good way of increasing the public's knowledge of these nuisance calls

I now have a whistle next to the land line.
I ask them to hang on for a second , they think I’m ready to listen to them, I get the whistle and blow as hard as I can, then hang up.

Caller: Robert

Today "Robert" was from Telstra Technical Department, he needed to fix my internet connection. On demand he supplied me with his ficticious Telstra Id number. Told him to get stuffed and con someone else. About 30 minutes later I received a call from a similar number (03) 9088 1710 which I did not answer.
Same old Indian call centre trick.

Caller: I don't no. All I know is if block them. They ring on another number.

If you ring them to find out who they are. They tell you that the extension cannot take anymore messages. The box is full.

Unwanted neuiance call

Claiming to be from a electric company wanting to do better deals. Hung up and blocked

Indian accent - VERY noisy call centre - so I couldn’t hear the company he said he was calling from - but said something about my energy bill .

I got this same call. mobile from a landline, silence then hang up

A call yesterday but silence when I answered so I blocked the number. Later I got another call from a similar number which I did not answer.

Knew my name and address, wanted to know if I know if I was aware of the government 2nd solar rebate. Told them that I’ve already spoken to them 10 times in the past week (that’s how many times they have rang me on my mobile) he hung up on me.
