Caller: female with accent named Lisa

Stating she is calling re solar panels- told her we have had them for 10 years, then wanted to advise of a $4000.00 rebate by the Government, told her I had the rebates and hung up. I tried calling the number and as expected - recorded message stating the number I have called is not connected. Pity Telstra and others cannot do something about these scammers

Indian woman using a made up name trying to scam me about solar panels.

We have been getting calls every 10 minutes on our landline which I don't answer. The calls are from different numbers but all have an (03) prefix. Disconnected my phone last night, re-connected this morning and within an hour or so the calls started again. I have elderly parents who only call on the landline so I'm a bit worried I'll miss an urgent call from them if I have to keep disconnecting my phone. Isn't there anything that can be done about these calls? Some of the other numbers are 9088 1566; 9021 9771; 9661 3322.

Overseas scam callers "Government Solar Rebate” using a spoofed (fake) number. Diverted to scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

did not answer - now blocked - it seems all the Spam calls come from Victoria - one of the pitfalls of lockdown I suppose - they are all at home now

Yet another scam. Over it 😡

call ended when I picked up. First of what is normally many. Next time i'll try to get a person and I'll tell them where I want to put a pineapple that other way around.

About a rebate for solar panels they had a service agent in town wanting to call on me. I told her I was not interested and then she said "Go f*ck yourself" and hung up.

Suspicious when I saw the 03 90....front digits. Sure enough...scam! Many thanks.

Caller: “The federal government”

Scam regarding solar installation. Male caller wanting to know if we had solar installed, how recently, etc. offering another rebate!? When asked who he was calling from, he said “the federal government”. Hmm, federal government of what country???!! Obviously no public servant is going to make such a call without identifying their agency!

Rang 3 times in one day ,hung up when i picked up the phone ,most likely a scam call
