They are not Telemarketers.

These scam callers are involved in a direct phishing exercise.

Their method of to pretent to pose as so-called salespeople and solicit prospective customers to sign up to products or services.

All they have at this stage is your name but not your home address.

Furthmore, these suspected schemes want you to provide them with your home address details, date-of-birth, email account, etc.

They need confirmation from you because all they need to fill in the rest of the blank sheet of paper.

And of course most importantly your mobile phone number if they only have your telephone landline number.

Please report scams to law enforcement or government agencies.

Tele marketing that doesn't have a phone manner D heads

Telemarketing scam. Same number just changing last digits...multiple times a day over months. Keep blocking, they just change a digit. Am on Do Not Call Register, and this makes no difference. Sick of this sh*t

Had a few calls from this number which I hadn't answer until today. He asked if this was 'name'. He was referring to me in my married name which I hadn't used for 7 years. All my documents had been updated then. Not sure what list they have?

Scam call

No message left but tried three times today. if they can't leave a message they don't know me and I don't know them.

Just don’t pick up as have so many of these calls..it’s getting ridiculous!

It's a scam. Lady from overseas calls to say "We are calling from the Victorian government and wish to install free modems in your home". I responded that I do not live in Victoria. She responded "oooooohh" and hung up.

Rings my mobile every other day. Never answer. Figure if it's important they will leave a message. I answered a telemarketer a few years ago and they wanted to confirm my details. When I replied that as you rang me I want you to confirm your details. Got a mouthful of foul language.

Calls several times a day big pain

Received a call from (03) 9087 4033 and male advised he was calling about In Home (electricity) display - a Victorian govt initiative - which it is. The male then asked me to confirm home address details that weren't my address. When I queried this and said are you really calling on behalf of the govt, the caller hung up.

Has rung 3 times in one week but has never left a voicemail.

Rings just a couple of times and then cancels out if not answered. No voicemail left. always suspicious when a local number has the country prefix when calling. Now blocked.

They call then instantly hang up.
