My phone came up with potential fraud they called twice in a row. Blocked deleted

Re vic gov energy thing. He told me only way for my to get him to stop calling was to take the offer up. No way I’ll be doing that obviously.

Calls, hangs up. Return call gets msg to say number not connected. Blocked now.

Believe this number to be asscoiated with (03) 9087 4034. Both numbers come up as frauds on various searches.

Called on behalf of Victorian government regarding to installation of some sort. Knew my surname and tried to social engineer me

Called on my landline and mobile. Were offering free light globes under free government scheme. Don't know how they are allowed to do this under covid -19 restrictions with no visitors to the home! We are also on the don't call register. Called both lines several times. Very persistent.

Just another scam caller. Blocked and deleted

Went though to my answering machine then hung up. 10 second later I received a call from (08) 7282 6040 which also went through to the answer machine and hung up. No idea whether the two numbers are connected.

Caller: No idea

Called and I answered - no one there. Earlier in the day I got another call from an 02 number that tried to get me to take up a Vic govt energy offer. I believe this is the same thing given what others say above. Dodgy

Called and when I answered they had already hung up (after only a couple of rings). This is at least the second time they have called in similar fashion. I am blocking them!

Alternates between this number and (03) 9087 4034. Never leaves a message but keeps ringing my mobile and landline.

they have tried several times to phone from (03) 9087 4032 day before it was (03) 9087 4034 they never leave a message . I only check the phone for messages on my meal breaks otherwise the phone is in my work lockeranyway.

Has called 4 times today. Is a complete con job.

Can confirm all of the above. Still calling on 16 September 2021.

Can call multiple times a day, but leaves no message! No message = Unimportant call...

Likely linked to some form of automated system, the call is disconnected if nobody answeres and isn't capable of leaving a message.
