Asked if I had received power saver device
Had six calls in last month all from slight variations in the phone number (last digit different) as I block after each call

No message but thanks to all previous advice. Blocking this one

Caller had an Indian accent advising they will be installing new energy saving fan covers and LED lights as part of the Gov't scheme etc. Be careful people, they will claim to know your name!

Caller: I didn’t answer

I refused to answer at a time that I considered was inappropriate and who doesn’t leave a message. Can’t of been that important. There’s doing your job and doing your job and if it involves hassling people I’m not interested. I don’t speak to anyone in Victoria and if I did they’d be saved in my phone. Same to with Victorian grubberment calling me. Just piss off. You are the virus.

These Indian Scammers are that dumb they don't realise how dumb they are.

I'm sorry but we average Aussie's should feel sad for these Indian Scammers as they are too dumb to realise how dumb they really are. NOT.

I can think of a few other things to cut off while Telstra at it!

I don’t live in Victoria. Why am I being bombarded with calls about Victorian government initiatives??

I have call blocking, yet these people still get through. I do not even live in Victoria where the call originates.

As per all other comments these scammers seem to be using multiple phone lines to annoy as many people as they can.
Also, i never answer unknown numbers
Straight to blocked number.
I don't know if this works but i'll keep blocking.

Caller: Allegedly on behalf of the Victorian Government

Indian lady calling about Government replacement extractor fans. Don't know why they even bother, for when I asked which type of extractor, she said all, so i said I had sixteen and she then hung up. Just block the number and don't answer it.

I got a call from this number. A man with an Indian access addressed me by my first name (which is a worry) and asked me if I had all my shower heads replaced under a government scheme. I told him I wasn't interested and blocked the number.

why doesnt the government watch you they give contracts to?? Thery keep calling . When we say we have wht they are offering they (indian call centre ) hang up.
