Caller: Indian scammer

An Indian from this number called my mobile phone yesterday and another on my landline today. Is it now racist to state facts? These Indians know that they often reach vulnerable elderly people who are bewildered by these calls. What does it make these Indians? Is Anthony warranted in expressing the frustration that we feel? I have seen undercover videos of these Indian call centres. I have seen reporters presenting proof to police in India that a call centre around the block from them is scamming people. Indian police reply – there are no victims in India so we cannot do anything. Are all 1.4 billion Indians scammers. Of course not. The majority do not have phones or computers or work in call centres.

Samsung blocked as scam caller, based on all of the above comments not surprised.

Received a call from this number yesterday. Already register for "do not call" yet still receives frequent calls from unknown numbers.

Hung up when I answered. If they want to scam me, surely they need to talk to me? Idiots.

Caller: Foreign accent

keep calling using VIC government name, first about some free energy saving device and now about some free door seal.... somehow they know my name.... being in the do not call for years do nothing, they just keep calling,
I have blocked the number several times, but they keep calling from a new number.

Solar rebate call. They ignored the fact that I'm on the "do not call" register.

Another, supposedly government solar scheme offer. I’m on the do not call, but it makes no difference. Mostly Indian accents with impossibly English names - makes me immediately think ‘scammer’!

I keep getting daily calls from people offering solar panels. I'm really pissed off as i've put my numbers on the Do Not Call Register, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Some guy with foreign accent who knew my name said he was calling from the Government Energy Scheme. I hung up and blocked the number immediately as it's just another scam call.
