These people called saying that there were from the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and were spruking energy deals set up by said agency. The AER is a Australian Government agency who can only recommend changes to the State and Federal Governments in relation to the regulation of the Electricity Providers - they do not have to required power to agree to 'deals' relative to the provision of power to Australian Households. Should you get a call from this number it is SCAM, do not provided any personal information to them. Please also call Scamwatch and advise them of the details.

Called me 4 times and didn't leave a msg, I called them back and no answer. Today I called them from a different mobile phone and it said that Optus has disconnected this number.
