Caller: "Bulk" charity company

Called them back and the recorded message says that they phone people on behalf of charity groups.

Should have found out if it was a charity that I give to regularly so I can cancel my support. If they can afford to pay for these services then maybe they don't need my help.

I called back number (03) 9086 9002 reached voice mail for a charity company but did not say the name.

Comment from December 2015 sums it up:
"For the calls to stop you need to e-mail callingenquiries @ protophone.com and ask to be removed from the calling register and then I suggest registering your phone number with the Do Not Call Register. If you phone the number back it tells you to e-mail callingenquiries @ protophone.com so if you cannot be bothered to e-mail them then expect calls to keep happening."

Phone rang, I answered, didn’t say anything and it hung up straight away. Likely seeing if the line is active... I’ll probably start receiving more scam calls soon

Did not answer. I see from others' comments that it is a charity collections company, so it now goes on to my list of "do not answer".

I generally don't answer calls from interstate numbers. No VM left.

Continue to get unsolicited calls from Pareto Phone even though I requested via email they take me off their register. I'm not going to donate to any charities now unless I do it manually and without providing any contact details. I wish there was a way we could contact charities to inform them of there providers bad behaviour.
