1. I don't drive
2. I don't have a car
3. She had rung a hospital in Brisbane

Seriously - how stupid do these scamming maggots think people are - I know that some people can be gullible but these guys are TOTAL IDIOTS if they didn't do their homework about the numbers they are ringing......

Indian scamming pricks phoning about a "car accident" - Total scam!!!

This nbr obviously a SCAM. Just deleted the nbr. Kept ringing from last week.

(03) 9069 9331,Indian woman (scammer)with terrible english claiming to be from CTP insurance asking if I've had accident in the last few days and to claim insurance. Told her I'll report her to the cops and track her down and hang up on her.I confirmed with CTP insurance and they told me its a scammer and will alert their boss and staff !

Have received more than 20 calls today from this number saying they're from "Accident Department", I'm totally over them!

Indian woman saying she was from an insurance company saying they've received reports that someone from this number was involved in an accident. Have had over 30 of these calls from different numbers, I just hang up now.

Just had a phone call from this number I disconnected call without answering. They then phoned back no caller ID. I answered and Indian sounding guy asking if I was in an accident. Put him on hold, about 5 minutes later he hung up.

Indian lady said I or my family had and accident, I said I had her number and its a scam, I am on do not call register and I would be passing details on to federal police. She said, no sorry I just need to confirm your details. Ok I'll play along! I said what do you need, she said someone in the home had an accident. I asked what was the rego of the car involved, she couldn't answer. I then siad you dont know because it never happened and you are a scammer and I am sorry your job is trying to trick people. She hung up

I work in a dealership and they have called every land line in the place. They used to answer and say they calling because of an 'accident'... total scam and now they call every phone every few minutes and once you pick the call up they hang up --.--

I answered, they didn't respond then they hung up.

Some people try anything. I got called by this number. (03) so probably from Victoria. Let it ring out and then looked it up on here. Maybe the Indian scammers have moved out of 'the Tax Office' .......?

Indian call centre scam asking if you'd been in a car accident. I played along until I got bored and hung up. TOTAL SCAM!

Same deal. Rings telling you that you hit her car and wants all your details. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself. I can't even drive! I said OK, put her on hold and left her there for 30 minutes. :) With any luck, that has spiked her phone bill since I'm in WA. Ha ha!
