Caller: (03) 9068 3488 is a SCAM

Do not answer as they are using voice recordings to do identify theft.
This is a very serious and high tech scam.

Treat as a scam. I don't have a business but used to but I have had 3 different numbers since then so there is no way this can be related to my old business. If it were the govt calling ( and they do use robo calls sometimes) they would leave a number to call back on. In addition to that they would mail you details if it were that important. Treat as a scam and if they really want to check your covid plan I am sure they will visit. Generally I have found if the call starts with a 90 number it is spam

This number called me twice today. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon and I have now blocked the above phone number.

I just rang Business Victoria. Apparently this is a genuine call - not a scam. If you have applied for a Business Victoria Grant in the past you will probably get this automated robo call where 'Bailey' asks 'can you hear me' and then goes on to remind you to have a COVID safe business plan in place. When the call started it gave my full name (including my middle name) which I never use except on official government forms.

Certainly sounded 'suss' - which is why I then rang Business Victoria to check. I am still kicking myself that I actually replied 'yes' to a machine when it could so easily have been a scam. Just lucky this time.

Has to be a scam. It spelt out my name with + between words. Then asked "can you hear me ok?" I didn't answer because I know that's how they record you saying yes and use it for other purposes.

Called saying he was Bailey from small business Vic then went on to ask can you hear me .
Hung up once i heard that.

Caller: SCAM

I WAS TOLD IT WAS FROM CURIOUS SIM AND THEY HAD A CONNECTION PROBLEM. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!

Caller: Robotic Voice

missed the call, but the automated robot continued on and even continued once they asked if I was hearing them okay, even though it was an answering machine..... So, defs a scam!

Caller: Robot Bailey

Claims to be Victorian Government management , addressed me by full name punctuated with the word "plus" indicating a very amateurish and clunky programming variable attribution, I hung up on the second call after it required a response.

Caller: Claimed to be Business Victoria

I don’t have business so it looked like a scam. Rang twice before I blocked.

Scam, get a recorded message about Covid safe workplace for business owners, I don't even run/own a business. Hang up don't answer yes.

Got the call today. Said YES to the first two questions before realising sh*t was probably a scam. So i ended it straight away and blocked the number. Hopefully nothing else happens.

Small Business Victoria regarding restrictions easing. Automated message was going on, then went dead, could not hear anything. then it disconnected.
I'm not convinced it is legit...

Claims to be from government re covid compliance however asks questions that seem too easy to be used as identity theft. Best to ignore it and follow the DHHS web site instead just in case.

Happy to know it is legit, but find it odd to be getting this call at all as I don't have a business.

Same situation as all the other comments, but if the government was really behind this, they wouldn’t have an automated message. If it smells like chicken, tastes like chicken then....

Got to work this morning to find automated message on our answering machine checking up on our Covid safe plan. If they are so concerned about my business why are they calling at 6pm at night.

Annoying and blocked.if it is legit.... put it on a website or social media. dont call!!!

I think anyone that thinks this is a real call is retarded, especially people that just read the first message of this forum and assume that that person who posted that isn't also a scammer.
