I called it back - recorded msge said papypal was gonna deduct $299 from my acct.

Got a call from " Paypal" on (03) 9067 7947 about a Payment for $299 ish
Rang back, dodgy connection hung up.
Sounded like a Filipino lady.

Asked for me by name..No message left but given info on this number suggest they are accessing telephone record info. . Scam, , nuisance, call, waste of time, call it what you will. So much for a do not call register.

Received three calls on my landline today - all ending with 9067-7947:

Picked up - no answer.

Calling unpretending there from PayPal. It’s a scam.

Similar to the above report, but I answered and got the same recorded message that PayPal was going to deduct $299 from my account. Definite scam.

When I answered there was a prerecorded message saying "Hello this is Paypal".
I immediately hung up.
