This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Victoria. I had missed the call and they left no message. When I called the number back a recorded voice told me that the number was not connected. I suspect it was someone using a hi-jacked number to set up a scam.

Telstra security called. harry wilson with Indian accent said hackers were using my internet which was creating fake files for cyber hacks. Wanted me to turn on my computer to verify my cls I’d number . He gave me hisTelstra Id no TL833603: I hung up he rang back on 2 different phone nos . Think it’s a scam! Telstra don’t ring you.

Telstra security called. Guy with an Indian accent. I didn't write down his name, but he claimed his Telstra ID number was TL933047. Told him I would contact Telstra directly. I get these type of phone calls all the time and they are scams. I have an old computer that is set up with Linux. This puts them right off as they are set up for Apple and Microsoft. If they claim to have your CLSID, Telstra advise that, "This is a non-unique identifier which scammers try to pass off as something only a legitimate support person would know." BTW calling (03) 9063 0310 gives a recorded message that this number is not connected.
