Just put a message on your answering machine saying 'due to the many scam calls received I am not answering this phone any more however to my friends, family and any urgent medical messages etc please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can'. They never leave a message. I leave that message permanently on my answering machine. This has made my life so much easier and cut scam calls by at least 60%.

I'm getting tired of all these phone calls, as soon as you block one number they try you on another - I've never answered - how can this annoyance be stopped happening ?

This number registered as 'overseas' on the calling number display. I answered (expecting an o/seas call) but the other person hung up. Guess it is an o/seas call centre and not a Melbourne number

This number is persistent (03) 9034 9793) - has called me every month now for the last 3 months. I haven't answered it but I have tried calling it back from a different number once and it doesn't ring - wont be answering it due to scammers - I have blocked this number so they are unable to call me.

Thick Indian accent wanting to do a survey about charities. Accent so thick he was either in India or straight of this morning s flight from Delhi.

Called me and on answer hung up, I rang the number back and went right onto hold music like others here. Placed on call Barr list on my phone after visiting here.

This is a scam ... if it is coming on on your Smartphone just consign it to "Spam Numbers" and there is no repeat calls...

They rang yesterday, answered with the answering machine and she talk for some time but could hardly speak English, anyway just another scam as usual.

Missed a call from this number, called it back and immediately went straight to the engaged tone.

I think these people are getting our numbers from the Seek jobs website. I get these calls within minutes of using Seek.

But they are not a charity, they are gaming the loophole.

Just another scam as usual, I can't be bothered with them.

Keeps calling and never leaves a message. When I answered the call once to find out who they were, they hung up on me!

Pest calls ....Nuisance ...Require a system to block this..

Get a phone call from this number 2 or 3 times aday but hang up when you answer the phone

Total scam so called Charity , muzak on hold. Rude Indian sounding people. Hope they get their come uppence.
