Another potential scam / spam caller.

I have voicemail active and they never leave a message. I don't block the number because eventually thousands of number will be blocked and this will limited the Australian telephone system in a few years.

It is possible that all these calls are potentially a long-term overseas government's plan to cripple the Australian telephone system over time while masking is as making money for criminal purpose.

Definitely a scam because the CID number given is not connected..

Very hard to understand Indian Accent, told me that my Power bills were about to go down (Funny that I just received an e-mail from own provider to say they were going up).
He said he was from a comparison website. Not sure why he called me, I'm not the name on the Account at this house. Anyway I led him on a little and he hung up after I asked him for his Credit Card Details

It only rings a couple of times and hangs up when you pick up. I believe it's a scammer

Scam call trying to get me to sign up to a bogus Electricity provider as a means of getting bank details. They hung up the second I did not give them personal info.

Scammer - telling me about electricity discount but didn’t know my name. 1st thing they wanted to know was I a pensioner ?
Guessing they are trying to find some poor old person who will fall for their scam and hand over bank details.
