Caller: Research call centre recorded voice

The voice says they are calling from a research centre and I would go in to the draw for a $100 voucher (sure yeah) and then "First question is are you under or over 58?" How very presumptuous!! I said nothing and the call hung up.

Recorded message claiming to be from the "Australian Research Centre"... centre of/for what? That's not a real organisation as far as I can tell. Could be a legit survey for marketing, or could be a complete scam. Either way I blocked the number - that makes about 173 numbers I have blocked this year!

Found out this number belongs to Symbio Networks Pty Ltd a Communications Co. Apparently under Aussie Broadband and currently under scrutiny from the Australian Communications blah blah, for misusing their communications ability to scam and spam for companies. DONT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK!!!!

I didn't hear my phone ring, but I got a missed call message saying this number tried to call but didn't leave a message.
So out of stupid curiosity, I called the number back before doing a search on the number. When I called my phone lit up red, saying "POTENTIAL SPAM" and a couple of different messages saying 'This number is not connected" "This number is out of service" "Please check the number, the number you have dialed is incorrect. Please try again". Like 3 different recorded messages from 1 man's voice then 2 different lady's voices, then hangs up abruptly. And im just looking at my phone thinking, well they bloody called me! So don't be telling me I've got the wrong number b&%@*!!! Hahaha plus it's 6pm and I'm on the 'Do Not Call Register', set up by govt, plus! My phone server is supposed to block spam and scam numbers. Very strange. Might just tell scam watch about this disconnected number that called me!
