Caller: Claim from paypal

I have a pdf paypal payout invoice to order for ebay an iphone 15 pro amount $969. Order to someone else name and address and note to contact paypal (03) 9028 7305 to report transaction. I called up via my mobile an “INDIAN” guy pickup greeting from paypal. Asking me to clarify Invoice number which i did.
Then there is a text send to my phone from PayPal with Code number. He ask me if i have a text and tell him what is the number . I ask him i don’t feel right. He ask, Did i get a text from paypal? Then he got frustrated saying to me “are you stupid or what, if you don’t give me the CODE how can i verify you”. I then quickly ask him if he was really from paypal? And why you calling your customer stupid. He hanged up.
