Caller: Hoax saying from TPG

"IP address compromised in several countries, need to turn off your internet in 2 hours, what does it say on the screen now?"
Got a return number from them and asked for account details- they have used telephone directory and made up an account number. Out of interest phoned TPG and there were several other give aways that a scam.

Claimed to be from the TAX office and said I needed to call back immediately for tax fraud or authority would be contacted, confirmed with my accountant as they would have been notified first but they confirmed it was a scam

Caller: ATO Scam

ATO scammers with a warrant for my arrest.

Cold call.

(03) 9028 5980 - said it was the ATO and I am going to be arrested today if I don’t pay

Caller: Automated ATO Scam

An automatic message told me there were problems with my TFN and that there was a warrant for my arrest, but to speak to a consultant I was prompted to press "1".
English was not all 100% correct in the pre-recorded message and I would expect to have a human call me if this was a genuine problem.

"You have been registered as avoiding tax and a warrant has been issued for your arrest, please call back or press 1 now to avoid further action"

Wow! pretty funny really, I guess they must get some people.
