Called in relation to upgrading lights. When I politely declined he asked to speak to my partner. I told him my partner passed away and he said my partner was obviously the smart one in the relationship as I declining his offer. Utterly rude. Left me feeling uneasy and disgusted. I hung up and was called back by another shortly later who I politely declined and was met with aggression also.
My number is on the do not call register and I have made a formal complaint against this number. Beware.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be from Victorian Government

Caller with Indian accent started by asking questions about what hot water system I had. I told them that it was none of their business at which point they started to get aggressive. I then said that I was not interested in talking to someone who is obviously a scammer and I then got abused for defaming his good name. I let him rant for a while before telling him that the Phone trace we were running was now complete and I knew where he was calling from and he abruptly hung up.

Didn't leave a message (always works with these people), that's the litmus test. Checked out this website and clearly a scammer.

Indian male accent from a call centre calling himself Martin, I said is this a joke? He hung up on me!

Me: Who's calling?
Jordan from the Victorian Govt. Do you remember that some time ago we provided you with free light globes .... I interrupted him, to tell him that we had never received any light globes, but he interrupted me, mid-sentence and he said NO.

I asked if he understood English - I had never.................. again he interrupted and asked if I spoke Ukraine.

I told him that I do not want to receive these unsolicited calls and never to call me again...................during this time he hung up.

These calls are totally useless and a continuing nuisance and should be stopped. We receive 4 or 5 "none" calls every day and we are sick of it.

They are rude, persistent and start off with a lie. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY FREE LIGHT GLOBES FROM ANYBODY.
