Just received a call from (03) 9625 0917, saying Id won a $60 voucher for SMS Jackpot, and to press 6 to claim it.

I hung up and jumped on google.

Thanks for confirming my suspisions.

I got this call from this number and it is an automated advertisement for SMS Jackpot.
Asked to press number 6 for 60 dollars bid.

I got a call from this number (02) 8064 3053 and it was a male saying that i was randomly pick to win a 60 spot voucher

Received call at 5.08PM AEST today, just silence, hung up straigh away

I get these calls in the middle of the night and all day long.
I just received my 6th call from these people, who do I call to complain!!!

I got a call from this number (03) 9018 8329) just now, 3:10PM AEST

It's a recording of a male voice stating that I have been randomly selected to recieve a $60 gift voucher, and that I should press 6 on my keypad to recieve this voucher.

The message goes on to say that it is from "Jackpot SMS" (www.jackpotsms.com.au), which are a subscription SMS service offering regular prizes and vouchers via SMS. And it ONLY costs $6.60 per week, what a bargain. That's just under $30 per month.

The message also claims that you can stop recieving calls from them by SMSing the word "STOP" to the phone number, although I did not do this. I really don't care if they wish to continue wasting their money calling me.

Asside from this, I would recommend everyone consider entering all their telephone numbers on the "Do Not Call" register run by the government. Google the website, it takes about 2 minutes to register, and it means you will stop getting marketing calls of all kinds.
