Caller: Scammers

This is a Voice over Internet Protocol number and the VoIP provider is www.symbionetworks.com and you can check for a numbers VoIP provider here https://www.thenumberingsystem.com.au/#/number-register/search . I suggest we all call Symbio Networks each time we get a scam call from one of their VoIP customers and then maybe Symbio Networks will do something. Symbio Networks number is 1300 789 653. You must realize that Symbio Networks gets paid by the scammers that use their service and this is the reason Symbio Networks appear to be providing a safe haven to scammers.

Caller: recorded message, male american accent, from the Tax Department?

I rang the number (03) 9018 7136 spoke to a lady who said she was from HR Taxation Department, she had a latino accent. She wanted my name and when I wouldn't give it to her she told me that she would see me at the Police station after I'd been arrested! Ridiculous. Don't answer it and don't bother ringing the number. Total SCAM.

I got the same thing, so rang him back and gave him a loud blast with my whistle :)

Pretend to be ATO with an Indian accent, when I asked him are you a scam? He just hung up on me. Lol

SCAM SCAM SCAM - BEWARE (03) 9018 7020

Received a 'computer voice' message purporting to be from Australian Federal Police stating that they had received a complaint from Aust. Tax Dept. of illegalities in my tax returns.

I am a retired pensioner who has not been required to lodge a tax return for many years.
JUST HANG UP AND REPORT THE PHONE NUMBER

Caller: Claimed to be ATO

Called me many times saying I am in trouble with police, then I rang back an Indian guy told me he is from ATO, when I asked are you a scam? He hang up on me. Lol.

Caller: Australia tax office scam

Message left on my phone telling me that a file had been filed in regards to outstanding tax matter and to contact them before the case is sent to court on the Australia Tax Office number of (03) 9018 7020.
