I did not answer. When I dialled the number back, they answered with “Taxation Office”.

Received a recorded message that the ATO have uncovered false information submitted by me over several years and a prosecution was the next step and I had 2 options. I immediately exercised my first option by hanging up and reporting to ReverseAustralia.

They hung up as soon as i answered

The automatic message stating there will be an arrest warrant issued if fine is unpaid. So press one.
Thick accent of Indian origin answering saying "Australian Taxation Office" ...
