Same issue as Dan above...Bloody scammers

Caller: (03) 9018 5540

Left a message saying that I was going to get arrested if I didn't deal with something (blanked out) and to call the number back and the issue was time sensitive. I didn't and won't call as it's a shocker of a scam.

Left a voicemail saying I had to call them back or I would get arrested. What the f*#k.

I received an American recorded message today stating he was calling from the ATO and it was about a lawsuit and I immediately hung up. When I called back from another number an Indian lady answered saying she was from the Investigations unit. Suspecting it is a scam,I ended the call.

Sounded like a computer generated voice saying something about the Australian Tax office and if I didn't respond to this message there would be an arrest warranty issued under my name, weird

Just got off the phone to this number, apparently I owe the ATO 7,000 bucks, which is crazy cause I’m only 21, and for the amount of time I paid tax, I haven’t made anything close to that number back. I asked her to read out my address for me and she couldn’t so she hung up on me. If it happens to you give this a try

I heard a machine recording saying there is a lawsuit against me. It also asked me to a phone number, otherwise will have me arrested.

Obvious scammer - I pretended ignorance, so she gave me the (03) 9018 5643 number to call back when I started computer. They're well organised to have an 03 (ie. Vic) call back number. Can't we catch these criminals?

Same experience as above. However I refused to buy their security plan last night. Said I would look at it today. This morning turned the computer on without internet access & found I needed a Setup password to access the computer. Have been hassled with calls all day wanting me to buy a security program. Told them I wouldn't buy & that they were a scam & not from Telstra, then put the answer machine on

lady with Indian accent again posing as Telstra called and installed Supremo system on my computer during which my computer was taken off the air for hours at a time and then asked me to buy I Tune cards to the sum of $300 and then claimed that $2000 was put into my account mistakenly and asked me to send that amount to her or to an Indian address

A person with an Indian accent called me from this number posing as Telstra. They claimed that my internet IP address was showing some odd activity and that my computers might be at risk. However, they could help me fix the problem. I'm assuming that they would have eventually tried to sell me the solution or were fishing for information.
