Caller: Gave name Alex Miller

Same story. Claimed to be from the Commonwealth bank Fraud Squad. This is a scam.

Caller: Martin from Bendigo Bank Fraud Squad

received call saying someone in NZ was attempting to withdraw $800 from my personal account. I said I wasn't sure this wasn't a scam and he gave me his Fraud Squad ID number as 1000312 and that he would call back 11am tomorrow to discuss further. He had access to my personal Bendigo Bank accounts and gave me numbers and amounts.
Asked me to call customer support on (03) 9016 9733 or (03) 9016 9793. I see from other comments this is probably a scam

Same thing happened to me. The caller (who gave the name Alex Miller) said they were from Commonwealth International Fraud Squad and were trying to stop a fraudulent international transaction of $800. I said I didn't know whether this was a scam call and said I would ring them back. They gave me this number to call. I checked my account - and no such transaction was recorded.

Caller: Damien with a foreign accent.

Said he was from Visa and MasterCard fraud. Said someone was trying to withdraw $800 from my account. Did not give any information to him; contacted my bank; no fraudulent activity been done.
