Received a text saying Congratulations on purchasing a McAfee Anti Virus subscription and $249.99 (AU) is going to be debited from your account. Also to give (03) 9016 9236 a call. When I called the number its location was Melbourne. When I asked for them to clarify who they were, I initially spoke with a "Lee" who said they were from McAfee call center, when I asked for their location he hung up. Called again spoke to another person who sounded the same as Lee. I asked for Lee to which he said there is no one by that name. Then I asked to speak with his manager who he said was David Whatson, very heavy foreign accents and I could hear in the background other people asking what my caller ID was. WOULD NOT TRUST! When David got on the phone I asked him to verify himself but then asked me for my full details, bank account and credit card number! I have never engaged with McAfee Antivirus products. After he asked for my full details I terminated the call. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS!
