Caller: Rosie

I got Rosie to put me through to their manager, Peter. I tried getting Rosie to quote me their company's ABN number, which usually throws them off. Then, Peter gave me a spiel about it being inappropriate to give me their ABN number; but he did give away that they work in the country, and that they used to work in New South Wales, but due to covid, some such; not that they're an Australian business.

This is the second time they've call this week, and the twelfth time they've called in the last two weeks.

Scam for sure.

Another SCAM solar panel call. These calls that look like from Australian numbers are overseas indian call centre agencies preying on seniors to extract personal details for identity theft.

Spoke with Peter from Clean Green Solar, called him out about his ABN not being on the website, and other points, and I just warn everyone to keep clear. They are not in Melton as they claim. They change their phone number regularly. i wish we could do more to shut these scammers down.

They are now ringing from 83757472 and claim they are in Melton.

Peter is a rude and nasty scammer. DO not fall for this scam. Continuously ringing me and won't take no for an answer.

Caller: Peter D’Souza, Clean Green Solar

A woman called asking if I am a pensioner and that I can get a discount of $100 for checking my solar panels. The job will cost $199 which entails maintenance of solar panels, inverter performance, check wiring, panel mounting, wire check and that they can do the job the next day. I asked for them to send me an email detailing the work to be done. When I called back to check if they were going to send me the email they did not answer. But then a few moment later they called. I asked if I could speak to the lady who called me, Peter D’Souza who answered said that he is the manager and said that he will send the email which I received within 20 mins. The email address admin @ cleangreensolar.com.au. but no address and phone number on the email. I made an internet search and could not find their company listed. Their phone number (03) 9016 0517 rings but they don’t answer.

The story is identical as above. Received a call about maintenance of solar panels. Technician is an expert. Sent email with details of job to be done. Discount of $100 for pensioners. Job will cost $199. Gave phone number (03) 9016 0517.

Caller: Andrew

This number is a 100% scam artist. They are crooks in India who contracts out Solar Panel Cleaners here in Melbourne. Then a local cleaner of solar panels will come to clean and also subtly damage your solar panels and switch them off. They say they are technicians however they do not know a thing.

There is no company as Clean Green Solar.

They also promise they will send a free electrician to come switch on the solar panel unit. No one comes after one guys cleans up the solar panels. So by now your Solar Panel are fine and clean but they have done a technical damage and you need to get a electrical trades person in to fix it.

The local number calling is (03) 9016 0517 and its Andrew but is some Indian Guy

+91 79789 32044 is the number of the local guys contact in India (no idea where) This guy is named Joseph

The call was about getting my solar panels cleaned by CG Solar and I cannot call back on the number he gave me or find anything on internet about this person or company.
