Caller: claimed to be Australian tax office - yeah right!!

dont answer or hang up

Apparently I'm going to jail if I don't call back...

Scammers. As soon as you answer, a recording in an American accent starts playing, saying that its the Aust Tax Office and that a law suit is "getting filed in your name". Scumbags.

Robot voice, poor english, threatening,
"we will issue arrest warrant and get you arrested"

They just called me too, left a computerised message which I did not reply to.

Total Scam claiming to be the Tax Office

Left an automated message this morning threatening me with the issuing of an arrest warrant if I didn't call back. I called back from a blocked number to see if I got someone in Uzbekistan; it rang out. (apologies to all the Uzbekistanies).

Left a message stating if I don’t call back an arrest warrant willing be issued

Taped message saying I had a lawsuit against me. Did not ring back

Caller: (03) 9015 7841

Robotic voice claiming it was the Taxation office and legal action was being taken out against me. I hung up. I searched the number online and people were getting the same scam from (03) 9015 7821.
