The $399.00 renewal amount is automatically deducted from your bank account, and it takes a day for it to appear on your statement.

It is similar to messages that were identified as spam in the past.

Received an email regarding an AVG subscription due to come out of my account from an address that has only been used for Medicare (so Medicare breach obviously). This was the phone number at the bottom of the email to contact.

I received a similar email re AVG security f providing this number to ‘get my money back’. Came from: hrrngtnjxn @ gmail.com. Also sent to an email address only used with Medibank. 😒

Caller: (03) 9015 7725 Received a text today re my Security subscription expiring as the above. As we outsource our IT security, it looked real but learnt not to trust texts etc from unknown. So searched the phone no and found this site which was useful. Deleted the message. Thank you

Caller: Emailed I received this scam Email that was meant to be from AVG but it is a scam.
Keep an eye on your bank accounts as it does not state account details and report it to your bank ASAP.
