Caller said he was from Telstra Technical support and there was a problem in my internet. I asked for an a phone number that I could call back. He gave me the above no. & also an Employee number and asked me to call back tomorrow.

Caller said he was from Telstra and there was a problem with foreign usage of my IP address. I asked for an a phone number I could call to verify the caller. I was given this number to call. He gave me an ID number and said he was calling from Telstra store in Exhibition St, Melbourne.

Same as other comments - said his name was Michael Smith also gave me job number etc I could not understand everything thing he was trying to say as his accent was so broad (Asian I think)

'Telstra Tech', with the EVENTVRW scam

They rang and stated they were from Telstra technical department. I stated I would ring telstra first then ring them back. They gave me this number and thought I stupid enough to think it was telstra.
