Caller: Bendigo bank fraud department

Caller: David Julius (probably fake name)

Said he was from Bendigo Bank Fraud Department saying a someone was trying to transfer $899.99 to a Bank of America account in the name of Peter Wilson. Said they put a block on all international transfers on my account but that I needed to download an app called customer app - Zoho to lodge a complaint about the transaction. As soon as I made it known to him that I wouldn't install that app and that I'll call Bendigo Bank myself to discuss the matter, he hung up the phone without saying goodbye.

Scam caller

Caller: Fraud Dept @ bendigo/beyond bank

Called saying there was a suspicious transaction from America to the name Patricia someone.
He was stumped when I asked again what bank he was calling from and I advised I didn’t have an account with them and hung up- scammers

I answered, but said nothing and it hung up.... Checked here, sure enough, now blocked that number.

Caller: Bendigo bank fraud department (apparently)

Knew my name then asked urgently if I had authorised a large payment to a person I didn't know of. Told him abruptly I don't have a Bendigo bank account and hung up on him! I had an account many years ago but closed it, so they are somehow accessing old accounts.

Caller: Said he was from Bendigo Bank Fraud Department

Said there was an international charge on my card. I called my branch and they confirmed that this was not true and that they were a scammer.

Hung up when I said we didn't have an account with the Bendigo Bank.

Yes, I got the same call. They claimed to be from Bendigo Bank... What is scary is they know my name and surname...

Missed caller did not leave message. IF genuinely from this number, apparently belongs to Vugs Plumbing according to this website
