Unknown scam number Rang me on public holiday or something... Melbourne cup day... I know they r not who they say they are because they could not ring on that day ! . which they did meaning they are not Australian ! And they spoofed the bloody call .

Robot voice saying a warrent would be issued and I would be arrested if I didnt call back. But I called back about 10 times and cant get through. Dodgy.

I had a message from this number saying they had a law suit against me and were issuing an arrest warrent. SCAM

That’s not how the Australian tax office informs you of tax issues.

Computerized male voice who claimed to be from Australian Taxation office and threatened with arrest if I did not take immediate action in contacting them back.

If you don't get back to this number you will be arrested - spoken in American accent.

It’s a scam

Phone call from purported Melbourne number on a Victorian public holiday. A recorded voice message with an American style accent claimed to be from the ATO. I hung up before the threats ensued, as I'm aware of this scam being quite common in recent weeks.
