Today I received a call and it showed as being from the number (03) 9012 6667 - they said that as I spend over $100 per month on calls they could save me money on my bill and so asked how they knew what I spent  each month and I also asked who they were - they just hung up.

They are still at it!  Got called just now about it.

I have had calls from this number as well but it happens every 2months or so, they say i spend over $100 on my phone bill and say there from telstra but i know i do not spend $100 on my home phone so as soon as i tell them there incorrect they hang up.  I rang telstra and they said it is not from there company is there any way to catch these people out as when you call back the phone just rings out.

Got this today for the second time, yada yada yada you spend $100 per month with telstra we can lower your costs. Pity they called me on my voip line which costs around $3 per month.Beat that and you can have my business.Needless to say the imbecile on the other end hung up
