This number calls me a lot. Waits for me to say hello three times and hangs up without saying anything. I would have thought if it was telemarketing they would start talking.

the number belongs to a company called LUMO ENERGY like all stupid telemarketers they tell you all about the company, there great power rates and discountsHOWEVERthey do not try to sign you up instead they will send you and information pack.If YOU do not call them on the number provided they will automatically sign you up for a 2 yr contract.I have notified consumer affairs and hopefully they will investigate the matter

Just had a call from this number (03) 9011 8419. I picked up the phone and whoever it was put the phone down... Who is it?

I answered the phone and was asked to speak to a lady who hasnt lived here for over 5 years and is in a home. The foreign bloke (Indian) went on about how she/I had a problem with her/my computer and how he could see what the problem was from his end and how he could fix it. As I told him the lady no longer lived at this address and how she had never owned a computer in her life he then started to argue with me and went on about MY computer. As I had already had about 4 other calls from these people on the same afternoon, I by this time was not in a good mood with them. I told him to clear off and leave me alone and not to call this number again and put the phone down. Within about 5 minutes he called me back swearing at me down the phone before hanging up. Not a day goes by without at least one call still from this company (so far today its 3 calls and counting). They need stopping as a lot of people live alone and are being harrassed and annoyed and probably scared by these pests.

i got a call twice from this number and when i call back, it just start charging me for call while still ringing, a divert? This is really annoying, as when i picked it up, it just hung up immediately. Who could it be? Please help! Anyone? Thanks

Yeah i get this and i bet it's a skype  generated number it will be a scam caller if the truth is known but call telstra to find out
