Left a VM stating that I need to call them back otherwise there will be a warrant issued for my arrest. It was a computer-generated voice that left the message; however, based on the idioms used, I would say that the person behind the message was not a native English speaker. In short, a phishing scam.

Same story - just received a call, computer generated voice advising that if I don't call them back immediately an arrest warrant will be issued … how dam stupid do these people think we are????

I got computer generated voice said I will get an arrest warrant if I'm not call back.

Defenitely scam as I called back and asked what is there organization again. They hung up

As per previous posts, robot speaker from ATO asking to call back or be issued with an arrest warrant. Scam!

Another bloody scammer. Even left a voice mail when I hung up.

Same just happened to me , claiming to be an Office of the ATO Ron Thompson. After I challenged his title , he preceded to call me a bitch and ended the call I contacted them from 2 alternative numbers requesting Ron Thompson only to have the line drop the first time after several minute waiting and I inturn threatened them the second time.

Computer generated voice warning that you will get an arrest warrant if you don't call back. Definitely a scam
