Same just happened to me. They’ve phoned twice and I was wondering who they were

I answered and they hung up

I was about to answer when they stopped calling. Didn't even allow me to answer??

This number rings me every day, usually mid-arvo, along with some other numbers.
I let it go to answer machine which will pickup after 6 rings but the number(s), all of them, hang up at 5 rings!!!
It's gotta be an automated calling system to be that consistent.

Constant calls from this number but they never leave a message so clearly don't actually want to speak to me. The intrusions are, to say the least, extremely annoying, so I'm about to block the number.

I answered call and the line was dead.
If they're scam merchants why don't they speak?
Do they expect you to call them back?

I have had a series of drop calls from this group. I think they may be legit, but ... If I were one of the registered charities they claim to represent I'd be pretty annoyed.
Blocked them.

Keeps ringing my landline then immediately rings my mobile. Does not leave messages and hangs up straight away.

Rang, I answered and they hung up

When I answered they hung up

Answered phone call , said hello and just hang up

Number hung up.
