Electric hot water service exchange for free!!! Sounds like a scam.
I asked her not to ring again and got a call 10 mins later. DON'T ANSWER!

I had a call insisting that my computer was being used by so9meone regosterd to someone in vic. That it was hacked by someone else and needed top be sorted out. They were going to be able to help. I immediately new this was all a scam to get into my computer for hacking purposes. Everyone out there do not let anyone intoyour computer what so ever, they arwe scamming you and will do a lot of damage. I have been victim to others like this before and now learnt my lesson the long and hard way.

Caller: Allegedly doing a survey for Coles

Not legitimate- said they were doing a 30 second survey for Coles but questions inappropriate and no way this was authentic.

Another SCAM caller, Have had this number call before, DO NOT TRUST, Getting to the point of having a whistle next to the phone to blow there eardrums.

Called by very insistant 'Computer Manager" with a warning report saying she was part of the technical server to do with my computer.
Assured me that it had nothing to do with my internet. When I asked how she knew about with trouble my computer was causing she said she was involved with the server..... Finally I hung up but she was VERY insistant ..when I said my relation would come and look at it she wanted to know when...

Spam caller, left no message.

To whom it may concern, if you get a call from this number, just hang up. They are not from the NBN company and they ask irrelevant questions and suggest that they are going to do things (silly things at that) which is not their responsibility. They asked questions that are none of their business,

Called before Christmas and started up again in January 22. I don’t answer, they don’t leave a message.

Answered but didn't talk. Definitely a call centre; opened with something like 'from Vic program' and I hung up. Calls allllll day long; it's ridiculous.

Wanted to switch over my electric hot water service for free (we have gas hot water). Probably a ploy to collect personal details.

Yes it is a call centre for the hot water exchange government scheme, I weakened and got them out to see if I qualified for it free and we did at my office where the electric hot water service had died. It took a couple of months to get done but actually is a great system and they are doing are warehouse system in a few weeks. For once a call centre call was a positive result.

Called, picked up but there was no sound.

I had been receiving calls from (03) 9005 8522 for a whole month almost 5-6 times per week. I don't talk it will hang up.

These scammers won’t be put off. I have a Telstra Guardian phone which sends any unrecognised numbers to voice mail. It has saved me from talking to these scammers now and I highly recommend it.
