Caller: Scam- Australian taxation office

Left an automated voicemail mentioning warrent has been issued under my name for avoiding tax 😂.
I called to play with them, picked up by a man with Indian accent “Australian taxation office” . I said can you stop this scam bro , he replied” yes i will “ 😂

Caller: Scammer - automated recording.

Called this morning...purportedly the ATO going to issue a warrant for my arrest as I haven’t replied to the registered mail they’ve been sending me..apparently it’s been returned to them ‘address unknown’.. I haven’t moved for 15 years... and I’m registered on the ‘do not call’ register (which I keep renewing).

Caller: They said it was the Australian Tax Office and then they hung up.

I rang back the third time through the National Relay Service (NRS) and they told the relay officer to SHUT UP! SHUT UP.

scam, asking me to call back regarding a warrant for my arrest! It was a recorded message

Its a scam site using automated calls impersonating ATO, Various Mobile Internet providers

I had a call from (03) 9005 8504 leaving a voicemail saying legal paperwork for tax avoidance had been sent but undelivered to my address, and proceedings were being filed for my arrest warrant. I checked this site and see others have received calls so definitely not calling it back!

Said they I had wrong tax return information, that I was going to be arrested and executed for tax avoidance and that my details were recorded and a warrant was out for my arrest. Wasn’t an actual person speaking, it was a dodgy recording, didn’t answer as the caller Id said potential scam, they left a voicemail

Got a recorded digital voice saying "I have not given the correct Taxation number and theTaxation office has charged me with tax invasion and issued a warrant for my arrest??????????

Call from this number this morning. Told me he was Australian tax office. Obviously a scam

ATO robot called to say I'm Tax evading.

Claimed to be calling from the ATO. Ha! ...

DO NOT interact with this number. Have received odd calls from several numbers in recent months. This particular one left a voice message. An automated voice telling me that legal documents sent to 'listed address' have been returned unsigned and undelivered, and that I need to return the call or risk being arrested. Legitimate companies will NEVER leave voice messages outlining legal issues, let alone automated ones. Be sure to block this number.

I got a recorded message allegedly from the ATO saying there was a warrant out for my arrest due to tax avoidance

ATO SCAM alert!! Threatened arresting me for tax fraud with a recorded Australian voiced recording pretending to be ATO.

When I answered it claimed to be the Taxation Office.
I immediately hung up.
There are lots of phone scams right now.
